I began my professional writing career at the age of 17 as a freelance humor and feature contributor to The Salt Lake Tribune.

Since 1982 I have worked as a full-time freelance writer, winning national, regional and local awards. I have completed projects for a diverse list of companies and organizations, including Franklin Covey, Novell, Huntsman Chemical, Salt Lake City Corporation, Beneficial Life Insurance, University of Utah Health Sciences Center, ServiceMaster, Nature’s Sunshine Products and Coca Cola.

My list of published works includes over 300 magazine articles, including profiles and travel articles, and several books covering a wide spectrum of subjects.
